China suspends entry of travellers from India citing COVID-19 fears

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, China has temporarily suspended the entry of foreign nationals living in India into China. A proposed Vande Bharat Mission flight for November 6 has also been rescheduled. It must be noted here that in a recent flight from New Delhi to the Chinese city of Wuhan under the Vande Bharat Mission, 19 Indian passengers tested positive for COVID-19.
