On Monday, makers of Do Patti, released its Official Trailer.
Kriti Sanon and Kajol have paired up for the second time in the upcoming Netflix film ‘Do Patti’. ‘Do Patti’ is also Kriti’s maiden film as a producer under her own label, Blue Butterfly Films. The film is set in the fictional highland hamlet of Devipur, where police officer Vidya Jyothi becomes embroiled in a case involving competing twin sisters. It also features Shaheer Sheikh in a significant part.
In an official statement, Kriti Sanon explained why she selected ‘Do Patti’ as her debut film as a producer. She stated, “Do Patti is really meaningful to me, not just because it is my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on screen. This film has been like a baby to Kanika and me; we have nurtured it from the beginning, especially as producers, and it is tremendously rewarding to see this journey through with Netflix. Do Patti also contains a meaningful message, which is why I opted to make this film as my debut, and I can’t wait for viewers to see it.”
Shashanka Chaturvedi directed the film, which also stars Tanvi Azmi and Brijendra Kala in crucial roles. Kanika Dhillon, who previously wrote ‘Haseen Dillruba’, wrote ‘Do Patti’. The movie will release on Netflix on October 25, 2024.
