Ed Sheeran took a break from music to work a shift at a Lego store in the United States. Despite his fears about AI replacing artists, the 32-year-old is not giving up his guitar just yet. On Saturday, August 12, the singer surprised fans at the Mall of America by signing Lego boxes, handing out presents and meeting hundreds of surprised fans. Ed’s shopping trip would not have been complete without an acoustic rendition of his blockbuster hit Lego House.
Just before his show there, Ed Sheeran surprised his Minnesota fans. The Perfect singer was seen at work at the Lego Store. Sheeran’s Lego House was released over 10 years ago on Ed’s + album and the single video featured a post-Harry Potter Rupert Grint. On Instagram, Ed Sheeran also posted a video of himself working at a Lego store. Sharing the video, he penned, “I went to the Mall of America today to work in the LEGO store, hand out LEGO sets, and perform the Lego house song. LEGO!!!!”
