Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman feels that India may create problem to other countries

The Indian team will face Kane Williamson’s New Zealand in the World Test Championship (WTC) final along with five-Test match series against England. The World Test Championship (WTC) final is set to begin from June 18 to June 23. At present, the Indian team is under quarantine for three days. On the other hand, New Zealand is playing two-Test match series against England.

Alongside, the Indian team will also play three ODIs and as many T20Is against Sri Lanka. The BCCI will send a second Indian side to Sri Lanka in July which bears testaments to the young talent of Indian cricket. The main experience team will be engaged in the WTC final and series against England on one side. On the other side, the team of young talents will face Sri Lanka in three ODIs and as many T20Is.

VVS Laxman said that the India A programme under Rahul Dravid and NCA’s contribution and the IPL (Indian Premier League) are the reasons the Indian team got such young talents. Concluding his point, he believes that India is very lucky to have so many talented players. So definitely, Indian might look at fielding two teams. India is fortunate to have some experienced players going to Sri Lanks and walking into any international side.
