Hasan Ali, Islamabad United pacer, who had decided to pull out of the remaining games of the sixth edition of the PSL yesterday has now made an u-turn after he decided to stay back in the league instead, the franchise said in a media statement on Monday.
Ali who had made his mind to fly back home to Pakistan on Sunday stating family reasons spoke to his family and has now made up his mind to stay back with the team. The reason to fly back was because of a family issue that he was facing which has been resolved.
The Pakistan cricketer thanked his wife for resolving the problem and stated that “She has assured me she will take care of it and wants me to concentrate on my cricket and my career. Hats off to such a wonderful partner. She has always stood by me through the hardest times and after consulting with her I have decided to stay on with Islamabad United for the remainder of PSL six. I would like to thank Islamabad United for their support and understanding during this tough period.”
With this development, the Islamabad United owner Ali Naqvi was happy about that cricketer’s decision and expressed that It is fortunate for the side that Hassan will be available for the rest of the tournament.
