Leighton Meester and Adam Brody have experienced a heartbreaking loss as their Los Angeles home was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire on January 8. The fire, fueled by strong winds reaching 100 miles per hour, engulfed their three-story property, which had five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a stunning ocean view. Photos from the scene showed flames bursting from the garage and the roof completely blown off, with much of the surrounding greenery also consumed by the blaze.
The couple, who have been married for a decade and have two children, have not yet commented publicly on the tragic loss. Their most recent public appearance was just days earlier, at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards on January 5, where Brody was nominated for his role in Nobody Wants This. Meester shared a proud Instagram post from the red carpet, captioned “Proud of my ❤️,” and the pair later celebrated at Netflix’s afterparty with Brody’s co-star Jackie Tohn.
The devastating fire, which has now spread across 5,000 acres, has forced thousands of residents in the Los Angeles area, including other celebrities like Ben Affleck and Mandy Moore, to evacuate. Tragically, the fire has claimed at least two lives so far. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this devastating disaster.
