The US President – Donald Trump has awarded the Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi with the ‘Legion of Merit’ award for his role in advancing and for the betterment of India-U.S. relationship & promoting global peace and prosperity. The award was also presented to Prime Minister of Japan – Shinzo Abe and Australia Prime Minister – Scott Morrison .
The award was presented to Indian U.S. Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, who accepted it on the behalf of Prime Minister of India.
