Indian skipper Virat Kohli reveals on how Indian team remains on top in Test cricket

Virat Kohli’s team is now heading to England to play the inaugural World Test Championship final. Few hours before departing the skipper said that the final holds a lot of value to him, especially with it being the first of its kind and that too in the toughest format. The whole team takes a lot of pride in playing Test cricket and the way the team has progressed as aside.

He added that according to the team, those who’ve been part of the Test side for many years for them is like an accumulation of all the hard work and not just for the duration of the championship but of the last five-six years the team started coming up the ranks and as a strong side. The whole team is just very happy to play the inaugural final.

Lastly, Virat said that it’s a great opportunity to reflect and relax. Just for the players to roam around freely and considering that they will have a five-test series against the team England. It will give them time to reunite and that’s required before an important series like that and he does not think winning in England is a final frontier. The team just wants to get there and make the most of the opportunity at hand.
