Indigo to refund customer credit shells by January 31

IndiGo is all set to refund customer credit shells which were generated as a result of flight ticket cancellations in the wake of COVID-19 restrictions. The company in a statement said, it has already processed 90% of its amount payable to customers which accounts to Rs 1000 crore and will disburse them by January 31. IndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta said the pandemic had brought airline business to a standstill by end of March and the company was unable to immediately process the customer dues.
