IPL 2021: Best predicted playing XI of PBKS, CSK, MI and DC

The 14th Edition of the IPL is all set to begin from April 9, 2021. RCB will be playing their first match of the season against Mumbai Indians in Chennai. The tournament will span for 56 days and will continue till May 30, 2021.

Punjab Kings

The only team in the IPL to undergo a change of name ahead of IPL 2021. Formerly known as king XI Punjab, is a franchise Cricket team based in Mohali Punjab. The team could not taste success in the tournament despite having decent team. The team reached the IPL final on one occasion in 2014 where they have lost to KKR. The team has also been 3rd runners up on one occasion. From time to time the team has undergone a lot of changes in the coaching staff and also the Captain.

The team is now gearing up to start the upcoming season on a positive note under the able leadership of KL Rahul. The team has also acquired the service of the few important from the world of cricket.

The three times IPL champion had a poor outing last season with the team not being able to qualify for the play off. CSK has played consistently well under the able leadership of MS Dhoni since the inception of the tournament. CSK will face Delhi Capitals in their first match of IPL 2021.

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians is the only team in the tournament to have won the title five times. The defending champions will look to start the tournament on a winning note. Mumbai Indians will start their IPL 2021 journey against RCB on April 09 in Chennai.

The last year runner up will look to keep up the winning momentum in the upcoming edition as well. Despite losing the captain of the side Shreyas Iyer due to a shoulder injury, the team is looking shape and is one to the main contenders to win the title 2021. With the head coach Ricky Ponting and Risabh Pant, the captain of the side the team will look to start the tournament on a positive note in their first encounter against Chennai on April, 10.
