Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to field first and successfully choked Kolkata’s strong batting approach. KKR just scored 25 runs off the powerplay losing opener Shubhman Gill (11) for another string of low score.
However, Rahul Tripathi looked in great touch but his confused approach cost KKR a crucial wicket of their Skipper. Eoin Morgan who didn’t even face a single delivery went back to the pavilion for a diamond duck because of his partners’ mistake.
Morgan has so far not performed any mind-boggling performance in the IPL 2021 edition. He has not scored any half-century so far and has an unimpressive strike rate for the season. But we all know what this right-handed batter can do with his maximum potential.
