On Monday, April 19, Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by 45 runs at the Wankhade Stadium, Mumbai. Chennai scored a total of 188/9 in the first 20 overs setting a decent target for the Rajasthan’s batting side.
However, Chennai’s bowling attack demolished the Rajasthan’s batting line-up upside down. It was startling to see Ravindra Jadeja with his safe hands every time the ball was tossed in the air for a catch. Jadeja bagged four excellent catches, with a witty celebration after his final catch of Rajasthan’s tailender Jaydev Unadkat.
Jadeja not only took four catches but also delivered CSK with two crucial wickets, including the dangerous Jos Buttler, who looked in great touch with the bat.
This was the second win for CSK with a huge margin after they defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in the previous game promoting them to the 2nd position in the points table.
A resounding victory for @ChennaiIPL against #RR by 45 runs.
