IPL 2021: Prasidh Krishna to shatter Shoaib Akhtar’s record? KKR speed gun is unstoppable

The latest edition of IPL records Prasidh Krishna to have bowled faster and more consistent deliveries in terms of speed when compared to Australia’s international pacer, Pat Cummins.

The right-handed Karnataka pacer, Prasidh Krishna who is signed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season is recognized to bowl thunderbolt deliveries that can trouble any batsman in the world. Undoubtedly, Prasidh draws everyone’s attention towards himself with his magnificent performance and now even the former Pakistani fast-bowler, Shoaib Akhtar cannot turn a blind eye to the golden hour boy.

Prasidh was recently selected in the Indian cricket team for the limited overs-series against England where the mark was made. This not only impressed cricket experts across the world but Shoaib Akhtar himself called Prasidh a “Karishma” which implies miracle. This reference was used for the young Indian bowler on his YouTube channel. The real question to ask here is if Prasidh is a potential threat to Shoaib’s title of being regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in the history of international cricket and will Shoaib be dethroned of the tag? Fans wonder if  Prasidh can actually parallel the greatness and speed of Shoaib Akhtar’s bowling. Not only is he quick but he has remarkable control with the ball creating the ex-factor in his bowling style.

The latest edition of IPL records Prasidh Krishna to have bowled faster and more consistent deliveries in terms of speed when compared to Australia’s international pacer, Pat Cummins. Pat’s fastest records a whooping  146.71 kmph while Krisha’s fastest delivery is clocked at 146.60 kmph, making this an extremely narrow overpower. However, Pat’s name features only once when it comes to the top 10 fastest balls in the latest vivo IPL season.
