Australian players Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season, will no longer be the part of the squad, as they have decided to leave the league and return back to Australia. The franchise has made a statement that the players has left for personal reason.
So far in the season Richardson has played only one match and that was against Rajasthan Royals. In the match he took a wicket giving away 29 runs for three overs. Despite the turn of well disposed circumstances in Chennai, Zampa did not highlight in the playing Xl for RCB. In light of his engagement, he had previously skipped the lead round of the RCB season. With Zampa and Richardson leaving, RCB is now left with only six overseas players in their squad.

On Sunday, Ravichandran Ashwin played his last match before leaving to Chennai to look after his family as India struggled with a brutal pandemic surge. He might return if the things are under control.
Another Australian pacer Andrew Tye have already returned back to Australia on Sunday. Andrew said he was back home due to the Covid-19 rebellion in India. David Hussey said “The players are bit stressed by the upsurge of COVID-19 and that some players believe they are moving back to their hometown”. Not just the players from Australia, before this the England hard hitting batsman Liam Livingstone had already returned back due to “bubble fatigue”
