IPL 2021: SRH’s David Warner continues to top most IPL fifties after claiming his 50th IPL half century

Warner registers his 50th half-century to continue to top the list for most IPL fifties

David Warner has always been one of the strongest backbones for SRH ever since he has joined the Franchise. Sunrisers won the toss against the Chennai Super Kings and decided to bat first at the Arun Jhetali Stadium, Delhi. Although they lost Jonny Bairstow (7) early in the game by Sam Curran gave Chennai a great breakthrough in the powerplay.

However, Warner and Manish Pandey kept the game going. They both held strong from their ends, even though Warner was seen relatively quiet in his approach. Warner was struggling to find gaps and scored runs with a strike rate under 100.

But despite all the hurdles he was able to reach his half-century in 50 balls including three fours and two sixes. Warner still continues to hold the position for most fifties in IPL so far. He also completed his 200th six to reach his fifty.

Warner also shared a hundred run partnership with Manish Pandey for the second wicket against the Chennai Super Kings.
