The trailer gives us a glimpse about the story. The story is gangster-oriented filled with action and fun. Jagame Thandhiram is the tale of a Tamil don and plays the role of illegal Tamils settled in Europe, taking over the local mafia. The movie is scheduled to release on Netflix on June 18.
Dhanush and James Cosmo’s characters are presented as “like brothers” in the early scenes of the trailer, which goes on for two-and-a-half minutes.
The movie is produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios, Jagame Thandhiram features Dhanush as Suruli, Game of Thrones fame actor James Cosmo as Peter Sprott, Sanchana Natrajan as Valli, Aishwarya Lekshmi as Andrea, Joju George as Sivadose, Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan as Deepan and Vadivukkarasi as Manimegalai. The movie was supposed to release last year, but had to be postponed due to the pandemic. So, in view of the issues regarding the reopening of theatres, producer Sashikanth decided to release the film on OTT platform.
