James Anderson says England might continue their rotation policy during upcoming Test series against India

The England pacer James Anderson felt that the England team will still continue to rotate more players in given lass time in between the upcoming five-Test matches in the series. He is the world’s highest Test wicket-taker among other fast bowlers with 614 wickets from 160 matches and will turn 39 this July. James informed ESPNCricinfo that the five Tests against India might be a different story with a back-to-back in quite a quick session. That might be where players get rotated a bit more.

He further added that the rotation in the winter was completely understandable with the amount of cricket they had and the amount of time in bubbles that the whole team was spending. It is going to be slightly different this summer. If everything goes well, he thinks it will start to get relaxed. The team won’t be on the sort of bubble life that they’ve experienced in the last 12 months to rest the players.

James also said that he would love to play all seven tests this summer. There are five against India after two tests against New Zealand and then the Ashes after that. So, the team wants to start this summer well. Hopefully, if they pick their strongest team they (Anderson and Stuart Board) would like to think that they’re both in that. Both of them would love to share the new ball together.
