The movie will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2025.Recently, director Kabir Khan disclosed whether a theatrical re-release of the film was planned for this momentous anniversary.
Kabir Khan has talked candidly about the lingering effects of his 2015 movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan in an interview with India Today Digital. According to him, the film has taken on a “life of its own” and is growing in popularity each year. The director revealed that since the picture was approaching its tenth anniversary of release, he felt compelled to take action.
“I will talk to Salman Khan and tell him let’s do something about it,” Kabir continued in reference to the re-release plans. It’s a fantastic idea. A mute girl named Munni is introduced to Pawan in the comedy-drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He promises to return her to her Pakistani home and reconcile her with her family.
Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Harshaali Malhotra are among the film’s cast members. July 17, 2015, marked its theatrical debut. The film was highly praised for its plot, acting, dialogue, and soundtrack.
At the box office, it was an enormous hit. Even better, Bajrangi Bhaijaan took home the National Film Award for Best Popular Film.
