Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam) currently has a running cume of Rs. 18.40 crore. By the end of this week, the film will have earned more than Rs. 20 crore. According to current trends, it hopes to finish its run at about Rs. 30 crore, which is a respectable sum for a no-star movie but not enough to cover its expenses.
These legendary films, however, are exceedingly unpredictable. Last year, there was Laalo Krishna Sada Sahayate, which did nothing for more than a month before taking off like a brand-new phenomenon. In the upcoming weeks, it will be intriguing to watch if the Siddharth Gupta film can pull off a surprise.
