In a customary ceremony on Sunday, actor Kalidas Jayaram, the son of actors Jayaram and Parvathy, wed model Tarini Kalingarayar, his fiancée. The pair shared their first Instagram photos together after the wedding, which was held at Kerala’s Guruvayur temple.
Together, Kalidas and Tarini posted on Instagram the word “HITCHED” along with the heart, infinity, and evil eye emojis. The pair can be seen wearing identical orange and red clothes in the photos.
Kalidas is wearing a crimson and gold mundu, while Tarini is wearing an orange saree with a red and gold border, and she looks stunning. However, the way Kalidas and Tarini embrace and kiss each other while appearing content as ever is something that admirers can’t get enough of.
PA Mohammed Riyas and his wife Veena, daughter of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, actor-MP Suresh Gopi, the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Minister for Public Works and Tourism, and others attended Kalidas and Tarini’s wedding. The Guruvayur temple has hosted weddings in Kalidas’ family before, which is interesting.
At the height of their film careers, Jayaram and Parvathy, his parents, were married here in 1992. At the same temple, Kalidas’ sister Malavika Jayaram wed Navaneeth Gireesh earlier this year.
Following the nuptials, Jayaram told reporters that he was thrilled for his son’s marriage. He expressed his sincere gratitude, saying, “I am truly grateful that, just as people gathered to witness our wedding 32 years ago, they came to celebrate our son’s wedding as well.”
Tarini finished Miss Universe India 2021 as the third runner-up. After earning a degree in visual communication, she decided to pursue a career in modelling and worked for a number of companies.
The actor has established a career for himself in Tamil cinema, appearing in films like Indian 2, Vikram, and Paava Kadhaigal. His most recent appearance was in Raayan, directed by Dhanush.
