Kunickaa Sadanand, known for her roles in films like Beta, Gumraah, and Khiladi, spoke about the incident while discussing her career and experiences in Bollywood. She defended the singer while acknowledging that he made a mistake. She said, “Udit Narayan kissed, that’s alright, but he kissed on the wrong place. He should’ve kissed on the cheek.”
The Hum Saath-Saath Hain actress explained that artists often get carried away by excitement during live performances. She also questioned why only Udit Narayan was being blamed. Kunickaa added, “The girl also came forward for the kiss. Why are you putting all the blame on the man? If dessert is served on your plate, wouldn’t you eat it?”
Kunickaa Sadanand further said it is unfair to criticize Udit Narayan just because he is a famous personality. “Why are you blaming the man? You should also see what you are doing,” she remarked.
