Love Island USA fame Hannah Smith arrested for terrorist threats

Love Island USA fame Hannah Smith, who starred in the sixth and recently finished season of the dating reality show, was arrested on September 30 in Georgia, as per exclusive reports from TMZ and The US Sun.

The 26-year-old Peacock reality TV contestant then took social media by storm as Cobb County Sheriff posted her mugshot from the day of her arrest. Smith was reportedly arrested on felony charges, including terroristic threats and wilful obstruction of a law enforcement official, after she threatened to kill a cop.

According to US media reports, the reality TV personality was caught last Monday at 11 p.m. at an Atlanta event. According to Concerts.LiveNation.com, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue was booked for indie pop singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams’ performance that day.

According to police paperwork, Hannah was “getting escorted out of The Roxy and the Orange deck for being disorderly” at the time, according to The US Sun. The arresting officer also stated in the warrant, “While being escorted away from the Orange Deck parking structure and to her Uber, she attempted to punch me with a closed fist, but she did not make contact with me. While in handcuffs she also attempted to kick me multiple times.”

Furthermore, the warrant stated that Smith threatened to “commit a crime of violence.” The official document further stated that while being transferred to Cobb County Adult Detention Centre, she allegedly threatened to kill the police officer and his sister. Emergency Medical Services was also on hand to assist the police during the incident, as the event venue’s security staff had reported the reality TV star “yelling and screaming” while “intoxicated.”

After arriving at the jail, she refused to exit the vehicle, prompting the officer to arrest the individual in the passenger seat as well.”I advised to her that no one was in the front seat of the vehicle, however Smith still refused to exit the vehicle.”
