Actor R Madhavan Speaks Out on Social Media Misconceptions at Parent Geenee Launch

Actor R Madhavan recently opened up about the challenges of navigating social media during the launch of the parental control app Parent Geenee Inc in Chennai. Madhavan, who joined the app as an investor and strategic partner, spoke candidly about the misunderstandings that arise from his online interactions.

Addressing the scrutiny he faces, Madhavan shared a personal example to highlight how social media can distort reality. “A young girl messaged me, praising my work and expressing how I motivated her. She ended the message with hearts and kiss emojis,” he explained. “Out of courtesy, I replied, thanking her and wishing her well. However, when she posted a screenshot of my response, people only saw the emojis and assumed I was engaging in flirtatious conversations.”

Madhavan stressed that such misinterpretations are a significant concern, especially for those without his experience. “If I have to be cautious about every message I post, imagine how difficult it must be for others who lack this understanding,” he remarked. The actor praised the Parent Geenee Inc app for empowering parents to monitor their children’s social media usage and protect them from potential risks.

On the professional front, Madhavan was last seen in Hisaab Barabar, a film exploring bank scams. He has several upcoming projects, including Adhirshtasaali and Test in Tamil, and Amriki Pandit, De De Pyaar De 2, Kesari Chapter 2, and Dhurandhar in Hindi.
