Mahindra Group has appointed Purnima Lamba as Chief Brand Officer as the Group looks to strengthen its purpose-driven brand identity and future-ready communications strategy.
Lamba will assume the role from September 1, 2026, and will oversee the development and execution of Mahindra’s corporate brand narrative across businesses and platforms.
Her responsibilities include ensuring brand consistency across Mahindra’s diverse verticals and driving initiatives that enhance the Group’s visibility across both traditional and digital ecosystems.

Lamba joins Mahindra after an extensive international career at Unilever, where she handled senior leadership assignments in India, the UK and the Netherlands.
Mahindra said her expertise in digital media innovation and consumer engagement has helped strengthen brand presence and expand global footprint in previous roles.
