Men set up a bonfire inside a petrol pump; video goes viral

Safety warnings at petrol stations are nothing new; there are prominent signs that forbid using phones, lighting matches or smoking in order to prevent mishaps.

These precautions are essential since petrol and diesel are extremely flammable and can catch fire at any time. However, some people flagrantly disobey these cautions and act in ways that are dangerous and absurd. A recent video that is now trending on social media has startled and infuriated viewers.

Right near a petrol pump, the video shows a group of people warming their hands over a bonfire. It’s still unclear where the incident happened and when it happened.

On X, a video was shared by the handle ‘@terakyalenadena,’ with the caption, “Pura Highway samaj Dara hua hai.

The post has received a lot of criticism and has received over 239,000 views in just four days. The video shows a group of people sitting close to a fire that they started at the pump. Many internet users have called the behaviour risky and dangerous because it flagrantly disregards fundamental safety procedures.

Netizens are amazed by the video. One ccommentd, “This is pure madness, incredulously. They’re putting everyone’s lives and their own at jeopardy!”

Another wrote, “This level of negligence is unbelievable—do they not understand what could happen?”
