Synopsis
Based on a manga, Netflix will release “Dan Da Dan” as an anime worldwide starting in October 2024. The series, which is helmed by Fuga Yamashiro, blends romantic and mystical aspects. The show will also be streamed on Crunchyroll. The plot centres on Momo and Okarun’s encounters with ghosts and aliens, which result in surprising abilities and romantic feelings.
Plot
Momo, a high school student from a family of spirit mediums, and her occultist friend Okarun are the subjects of the anime. They argue about whether they believe in ghosts and aliens after being saved from bullying. Momo goes to an abandoned hospital, and Okarun investigates a haunted tunnel, which results in paranormal experiences and the discovery of hidden abilities, as evidence for their beliefs.

Science SARU, the production company behind critically praised films including “Devilman Crybaby” and “Japan Sinks: 2020,” is producing the series. The excitement surrounding the team’s recent release of “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” has increased even more for “Dan Da Dan.”
