Pakistan fines internet giants like Google under new media regulations

As per the new media regulations in Pakistan, the internet giants like Google, Facebook and Twitter are fined for $3.14 million for the failure to restrict the sharing of content that defames Islam in any manner. The companies have also said to leave Pakistan over this decision taken by the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan. In the last weeks, the pakistani government imposed a temporary ban on Tik Tok.
