Pushpa 2: The Rule day 21 worldwide box office collection

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Sukumar, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Allu Arjun, opened in theatres on December 5 and earned over ₹1700 crore worldwide. This moves the movie closer to the global record set by Baahubali 2, the most successful Telugu film.

The movie’s crew announced on social media that Pushpa 2: The Rule had grossed ₹1705 crore in its first 21 days of release worldwide. In the six days following its release, Pushpa 2 has made over ₹1002 crore worldwide. The movie made ₹1508 crore by day 14 after surpassing the ₹1400 crore milestone in 11 days.

The movie has already surpassed ₹1700 crore as it enters its third week, but it is unclear if it will surpass ₹1788 crore by defeating Baahubali 2. On Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with Telugu film industry representatives.

Acting as liaison was producer Dil Raju, who was been named head of Telangana’s Film Development Corporation (FDC). Following the meeting, the producer told the media that the Pushpa 2 stampede issue was briefly discussed but that benefit shows and ticket increases were not. He added that the purpose of the meeting was to talk about turning Hyderabad into a “hub for international film.”

The meeting with a number of directors and producers was also attended by Venkatesh and Nagarjuna. Following a stampede-like incident at the December 4 premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, the Telangana police filed a charge against Arjun and the management of the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.

A woman named Revathi died as a result, and her baby son Sri Teja was admitted to the hospital in severe condition. On December 14, the HC granted Arjun temporary bail after he was arrested on December 13. The actor disputed all allegations of “irresponsibility” made by CM Revanth and the police.
