Rishabh Pant moves up to the sixth spot in ICC Test Rankings, with two other Indian batsman in the top 10 list

Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has move up to the sixth spot in the ICC Test Rankings. It is his career best as of now. He had got into the top ten for the first time in his career, after a brilliant performance with the bat in the Australian tour. He scored 274 runs with an average of 54.8. In the last test match in Brisbane Gabba he played a match winning knock of 89 of just 138 balls sealing the series for India.

Captain Virat Kohli has held the fifth spot, while Rohit Sharma additionally bounced a spot to get the sixth spot with Rishabh Pant and New Zealand’s Henry Nicholls. The triplet have 747 points each in their bags.

Kane Williamson holds the number one spot with 919 points. He is being followed by Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Joe Root. Below is the updated list of the ICC Test Rankings for batsman:
