Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finished shooting for his much-awaited action film Sikandar. After completing his final scene, Salman immediately shaved off the beard he had grown for the role.
A source close to the film’s team shared that the last shot was a scene between Salman and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, filmed in Bandra, Mumbai. The team wrapped up around 8:30 PM, and right after that, Salman cleaned up his beard, which he had kept for his character in the film.
The film was shot over 90 days in Mumbai and Hyderabad and includes a mix of action-packed sequences and dance numbers. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the movie features Salman in a bold new role as Sanjay, also called Sikandar by his grandmother.
The teaser for the film, which was released last month, gave fans a glimpse of Salman in action, delivering powerful dialogues like “Kayde mein raho fayde mein rahoge” and “Insaaf nahi hisab karne aaya hun.”
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is Salman’s second project with the producer after their successful collaboration on Kick in 2014. The film is set to release this Eid, and fans can also look forward to Salman’s upcoming film Kick 2 in the coming months.
