Samsung presents AI-powered screen innovations at Australian Tech Summit 2026

Samsung Electronics is hosting its Australian Tech Summit 2026 in Sydney on May 14 and 15. The event offers media and industry professionals an in-depth look at Samsung’s latest AI-powered televisions and a preview of its Odyssey gaming monitors before their global launch.

The summit includes hands-on demonstrations that showcase how artificial intelligence enhances picture quality, viewing experiences, and display performance across Samsung’s Micro RGB, OLED, and gaming displays. These innovations highlight Samsung’s continued leadership in the TV market, where it has held the top position for 20 consecutive years.

Micro RGB for Premium Home Viewing

A significant focus of the event is Samsung’s new Micro RGB TV lineup, featuring the flagship 75-inch R95H and R85H models. These are designed for premium home viewing, offering precise color, deep contrast, and immersive picture quality.

Samsung is expanding its Micro RGB technology with screen sizes ranging from 55 to 115 inches, enhancing home environments with rich color, sharp contrast, and refined local dimming. The Micro RGB AI Engine Pro optimizes color and contrast in real time, achieving 100% of the BT.2020 color range. The lineup also includes certified Glare Free technology to reduce reflections, alongside features like Micro RGB Precision Color 100 and Vision AI Companion (VAC) for improved picture quality and personalized viewing.

OLED Innovation Powered by AI

Samsung’s 2026 OLED lineup combines cinematic picture quality, refined design, and intelligent features. The 77-inch S95H leads the lineup with brighter OLED performance, advanced HDR processing, and a standout premium design even when the screen is off.

The VAC feature offers a more natural way to interact with the TV, enhancing the OLED experience beyond picture quality. AI Upscaling Pro improves low-resolution content, while AI Soccer Mode Pro optimizes picture and sound for live sports. AI Sound Controller Pro allows viewers greater control over dialogue, background music, crowd noise, and commentary.

HDR10+ Advanced technology provides precise brightness control and improved tone mapping. Certified Glare Free technology minimizes reflections, maintaining exceptional contrast and sharpness. The S95H also features Samsung’s new FloatLayer Design and offers Art Mode and Samsung Art Store for dual functionality as a screen and home décor.

Odyssey Gaming Monitors for Speed and Immersion

Samsung is expanding its Odyssey lineup with gaming monitors offering glasses-free 3D immersion, ultra-fast OLED performance, and sharp 6K resolution.

The 27-inch Odyssey 3D (G90XF model) features Eye Tracking and View Mapping technology for natural 3D immersion without glasses, with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time for smooth gameplay. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS model) is the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor, supporting up to 330Hz in 3K and featuring VESA-certified DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.

The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH model) offers 4K QD-OLED visuals at 240Hz, with Samsung OLED Safeguard+ technology for long-lasting picture quality.

Shaping the Next Era of Screens

“Samsung’s 2026 display lineup combines the features consumers value most in TVs and monitors, including stunning picture quality, thoughtful design, and AI features that make screens more personal and intuitive,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Across the lineup, Samsung is delivering a more complete screen experience for how people watch, play, and work every day.”

Samsung’s 2026 portfolio expands advanced screen technologies and AI features across a broader range of products and price points, reflecting a future in which screens are smarter, sharper, and more personalized than ever.
