Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan Reunite for ‘Main Hoon Na 2’?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Farah Khan may soon reunite for the much-awaited sequel to their 2004 hit, Main Hoon Na. According to exclusive reports, Farah is currently developing a script for Main Hoon Na 2 under Shah Rukh’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.

A source close to the development revealed that Farah has come up with an idea for the sequel, which has excited Shah Rukh. However, the actor is keen on ensuring that the script lives up to the legacy of the original. “SRK is clear that he doesn’t want to make a sequel just for the sake of it. He wants the new story to surpass the impact of the first film. He has asked Farah and his in-house team of writers to refine the screenplay before making a final decision,” the source added.

If the project materializes, this will mark Shah Rukh and Farah’s fourth collaboration after Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), and Happy New Year (2014). Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is currently gearing up for King, directed by Siddharth Anand, set for release in 2026, followed by Pathaan 2 from YRF’s Spy Universe.

The final decision on Main Hoon Na 2 is expected by mid-2025, once the first draft of the script is ready. Fans eagerly await the return of Major Ram on the big screen.
