BJP MP Subramanian Swamy in a letter to the civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri pleaded the government to disqualify Tata Sons from Air India disinvestment process till the result being declared about a plea dragging Tata sons and Air Asia India in court. Swamy in 2013 filed a writ petition stimulating an illegal grant of license to Air Asia India. The letter written on December 14 included his writ petition with a FIR registered by the CBI on April 28, 2018 against Tata Sons.
