Urvashi Rautela’s Scenes Cut from Daaku Maharaj’s Netflix Release?

The controversy surrounding the OTT release of the movie Daaku Maharaaj, which starred Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna, has recently taken a new turn. Rumours circulated that Netflix had removed Urvashi’s scenes from the movie, which sparked curiosity and conjecture, but we now have new information that clarifies this development.

On February 21, Daaku Maharaaj will be made available on Netflix. The absence of Urvashi Rautela from the announcement poster caused some social media users to take notice. Rumours circulated that the streaming service had cut out Urvashi’s scenes from the movie shortly before it was made available on streaming services.

“The rumours regarding Urvashi-related scenes are completely untrue. The reports are not accurate. Netflix hasn’t cut anything. The same theatrical run of Daaku Maharaj will be released on OTT,” a trustworthy source confirmed.

The source further asserted that “every scene which featured in the theatrical release will make way to the digital world” and that the film has not been altered for the OTT release. Following a number of comments regarding Urvashi’s exclusion from the OTT release poster, Netflix India posted a video in which Urvashi was featured twice.

Director Bobby Kolli and producers Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios collaborated on the Telugu action-drama Daaku Maharaaj. In addition to Nandamuri Balakrishna, the film stars Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Urvashi Rautela, Rishi, Chandini Chowdary, Pradeep Rawat, Sachin Khedekar, Shine Tom Chacko, Viswant Duddumpudi, Aadukalam Naren, and Ravi Kishan.

In India, the movie brought in ₹90 crore, and globally, it brought in ₹125.8 crore, according to Sacnilk.
