Vascon Engineers Ltd. has set up a Centre of Excellence at COEP to support innovation and technology adoption in the construction and real estate sectors.
The 18,000 sq. ft. facility will serve as a hub for research, testing, and application of emerging technologies including BIM systems, automation, analytics, smart infrastructure solutions, and sustainable building practices.
The initiative is aimed at creating a collaborative ecosystem connecting developers, EPC firms, consultants, architects, urban planners, academia and government stakeholders.
The Centre will enable live demonstrations, pilot projects, and structured workshops to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R. Vasudevan, Founder & Chairman Emeritus, Vascon Engineers Ltd., said, “The Centre of Excellence at COEP reflects our long-standing association with the institution and our focus on building stronger linkages between industry and academia. Focusing on the latest technology in project execution.
