Today, the actor shared an adorable video of his “nazar utraai” at home via his Instagram account. For those who don’t know, nazar utraai is an ancient Indian practice for avoiding bad luck.
The video showed Vicky standing directly outside the apartment’s entryway while Asha Tai, his long-time domestic helper, performed the ceremony. As the woman instructed him to turn around to finish the ceremony, the actor grinned and watched. Vicky asked if he might enter once she finished, folding his hands.
The makers of Chhaava revealed on Friday that the movie has officially crossed the ₹300 crore mark globally. It’s the first 2025 Hindi movie to achieve so. In Madhya Pradesh and Goa, chhaava has already been deemed tax-free. Vicky plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, a Maratha monarch, in the movie.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, Divya Dutta as Soyarabai, Vineet Kumar Singh as Kavi Kalash, and Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite, the film is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava.
