Vistara Airline joins COVID-19 vaccine transportation drive

Vistara today announced their support against the supply of COVID-19 vaccines in the country. The airlines will carry doses of multiple vaccines and circulate in different states and parts of the country. The roll out of vaccines has just begun in the country and the government is looking forward to ensure the import of more vaccine shots from other companies.

Various destinations from Delhi to Hyderabad, Mumbai to Varanasi, carrying 90.5kg of covaxin which is developed by Bharat biotech and 512kg of covishield developed by oxford and British-Swedish company respectively and manufactured by serum institute of India(SII) which is Pune based pharma firm.

Earlier, Go Air participated in transportation service and more than 56 lakh doses of covishield vaccine were distributed to around 13 cities across country; which is scheduled on 16th January 2020 the work for vaccinations have begum four days before.
