Wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha recovers from COVID-19, will be available for England tour

India cricketer Wriddhiman Saha recovered from COVID-19 after he tested negative twice.

Earlier Saha has also posted about his condition and urged everyone not to spread false and misleading information about the same. On May 14, he tweeted, “My quarantine period is still not over. As a part of the routine check-up, 2 tests were done, out of which 1 was negative and the other one came as positive. Otherwise, I am doing much better. Requesting everyone not to spread misleading stories/information without the whole context.”
He had been tested positive on May 4 and on the same day the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suspended the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Saha is also in a squad of the Indian team to tour England next month. On June 18, India will play against New Zealand in the final of the World Test Champions (WTC)  at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. And just after the WTC final, India will be playing against England in a five-match Test series that will be kick start after the World Test Championship Finals.
