Adarsh Gourav writes on Instagram

Adarsh wrote a touching message on his Instagram page a few days ago in advance of the premiere of Woh Bhi Din The, which was previously known as Banana. The actor-singer stated in an article that in 2013, a select few actors from Mumbai and Delhi were flown to Jamshedpur to participate in their first feature film shoot. When he found out he was in a movie with a number of his former classmates at Loyola School, he was shocked. With its numerous firsts, Banana, as the movie was dubbed for a while, had a significant influence on his life. Adarsh had never had such a prominent part in a movie before.

He decided to dedicate his life to acting after falling madly in love with it. Some of his most cherished recollections are of the cast and crew sleeping in a cottage and shooting in the city where he had grown up. The actor went on to say that it was Sajid Ali’s first feature film as a director in addition to being the first film for most of the performers. Nearly all of the crew, including cinematographer Jay I. Patel, made their feature debuts. Sajid and Joi Barua gave him the amazing blessing of being able to sing on Banjare, which is his favourite song on the record.
