WTC Final: BCCI share highlights from team India’s intra-squad practice game

Ahead of World Test Championship (WTC) Final, Indian players are sweating very hard in practice sessions. Virat and Co. are currently playing an intra-squad practice game at Southampton.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a highlights clip from day two of the match on Twitter with the caption:

“Highlights from Day 2 of the intra-squad match simulation here in Southampton.”

At the intra-squad match simulation game, debating player Mohammed Siraj also got a chance to bat in the game as he was seen hitting a classic cover drive.

Earlier, the BCCI had given a score update from the intra-squad match simulation game stating, Rishabh Pant scoring an accelerated century. Opener Shubman Gill also looked in good form, scoring 85 off 135 balls.

One more interesting clip the BCCI shared, Skipper Virat Kohli was bowling in the practice game to KL Rahul on day 2 of the practice game.

India squad is looking good in the practice game ahead for the big clash against New Zealand starting on June 18.

On the other hand, Blackcaps are in a good position of winning the Test series against England after the English batting collapse on day 3 of the second Test at Edgbaston.

India and New Zealand teams are looking good ahead of WTC Final. We can surely say, the battle is going to be thrilling.
