Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik, who turned commentator for the tour to England to cover World Test Championship (WTC) Final, continued his trend of providing weather updates from the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. The wicket-keeper batsman said the situation didn’t look great on Monday morning.
The 36-year-old shared a picture of the Rose Bowl on Twitter with the covers on the pitch in Southampton.
Dinesh Karthik captioned the picture, “Not great atm”, pairing his picture with a disappointed emoji. Along with a “Sorry” text and sad emoji.

The weather forecast also suggests 80% and more rain throughout the day in Southampton on Monday, and chances are that play on Day 4 of the ongoing inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand could be washed out.
As Day 4 is likely to be a complete rained-off, there is some hope for cricket fans, Tuesday and Wednesday prediction forecast looks better, and a full quota of overs may be possible on both days.
