Allu Arjun made a significant impression on the public when he debuted in theatres in 2021 with Pushpa: The Rise. Therefore, the buzz was real when the Telugu actor revealed that he would be making a comeback with Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The eagerly anticipated action drama sequel was finally released last week. When Allu Arjun himself arrived at the inaugural performance at Hyderabad’s Sandhya theatre, the frenzy hit a whole new level. A woman named Revathy died from asphyxiation as a result of the stampede caused by the supporters’ excitement.
Now, Allu Arjun has spoken out about the terrible event in a unique video that he posted on social media. In this 3-minute-47-second clip, the actor described the Hyderabad theater’s line as “unexpected.” He added that he didn’t find out about the fan’s passing until the following day.
“As a gesture to show I am there for you, especially for the children,” Allu Arjun continued. “I would like to donate ₹25 lakh.” Now, this video has caused a rift on the internet. The actor’s announcement of recompense for the deceased’s family has been well received by many of his followers.
He was even praised for his “kindness” by others. Others are still pretty dissatisfied with Pushpa Raj, though.
At the box office, Pushpa 2: The Rule is still doing quite well. The action movie, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, has already made over 400 crore rupees.
