Actor Mouni Roy and businessman Suraj Nambiar have become the subject of separation rumours after noticeable activity on social media caught fans’ attention. Speculation around their marriage began after reports claimed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to widespread discussion online.
The rumours gained further momentum after Suraj reportedly deleted his Instagram account altogether. Before deactivating the profile, reports suggested that he had also removed several wedding photographs with Mouni, adding to the ongoing buzz around their relationship status.
While the actor has not addressed the speculation publicly, Mouni continues to keep pictures from their 2022 wedding ceremony and honeymoon on her Instagram profile. The couple had tied the knot in an intimate celebration attended by close friends and family members.
The online chatter intensified further after actor Disha Patani, who shares a close friendship with Mouni, reportedly unfollowed Suraj before his account disappeared from the platform. Over the years, Disha and Mouni have frequently shared glimpses from vacations, parties, and outings together, and Disha was also among the guests present at the couple’s wedding festivities.
Mouni and Suraj first met during a New Year celebration in Dubai in 2018 through mutual friends. Despite managing a long-distance relationship between Mumbai and Dubai, the two eventually grew closer during the Covid-19 lockdown period before getting married in Goa in January 2022 in ceremonies reflecting both Bengali and Malayali traditions.
