- To mark to first death anniversary of late Sushant Singh Rajput, his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande organized a havan at her family house and posted the pictures of the same on her Instagram account.
After the untimely demise of Sushant, Ankita had taken to her Instagram to raise her voice against all the conspirators who could have been involved in the matter. She had been mourning the late actor every month by lighting a small candle symbolizing the hope for justice and often shared it on her Instagram.
Earlier this month, she had announced that she was taking a break from social media. She quoted, ” It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.”
Critics labelled this as a sheer act of publicity and drama to attract attention in the month of June, the same month that Sushant died, However, she returned to Instagram a day before the first death anniversary of SSR with pictures from her latest vacation with boyfriend, Vicky Jain.
Ankita and Sushant met on the long run daily soap, Pavitra Rishta. They were in a relationship for six long years before they broke up in 2016.
Anikta had always been on good terms with Sushant’s family after the break up and had even extended all the support she could after the demise of Sushant last year.
