On January 29, the model/actress was spotted looking very cozy with actor Lewis Pullman at his birthday dinner in L.A. at Salazar—yep, meeting the parents already! Bill Pullman, aka the iconic actor from Independence Day, was also there. Talk about a family affair!
According to an eyewitness who spoke to E! News, Kaia and Lewis “arrived and left together” and were “holding hands and very affectionate” throughout the evening. Definitely sounds like more than just friendly vibes. A source also told People, “They’ve been spending time together the last few weeks” and added, “They’re a cute couple and very low-key.” Classic “we’re just having a chill time” energy!
This isn’t the first time Kaia and Lewis have been spotted together. Earlier in January, Kaia took a solo trip to Cabo (sans Austin), and a DeuxMoi reader even saw her and Lewis chatting at Ye Rustic Inn in Los Feliz. That was right around the time the breakup news about Kaia and Austin broke, so things were probably already on the rocks for a while before it hit the headlines.
Speaking of Austin, rumors had been swirling about the couple’s split for months, and the last time they were seen together was in early October at a Gracie Abrams concert. So, it’s looking like they were probably broken up for a while before the official announcement.
Now, let’s talk about Lewis! The dude has some serious acting chops, having appeared in films like The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Bad Times at the El Royale, Top Gun: Maverick, and ’Salem’s Lot. He’s also set to appear in the Thunderbolts movie as the Sentry, which is huge news for superhero fans.
