In the fourth season of Love Is Blind, which debuted on Netflix on March 24, 2023, Zack Goytowski and Irina Solomonova were two of the 30 contestants. The show followed 15 men and 15 women from Seattle, Washington, as they went on speed dates in “Pods,” where they could talk but couldn’t see each other. The couples decide whether they want to be engaged—still blind—or break their relationships in order to connect with someone better during their ten days in “The Pods.”
Following the proposal, the couples travel together for the first time and spend their honeymoon getting to know one another and the other couples. The couples, who all reside in the same city, return from their vacation and move in together as they make ready for their weddings and get to know one other’s families and friends. The couples must decide whether to get hitched or call it quits at the altar on their wedding days as they address the age-old query of whether love can be genuinely blind.

After being engaged in The Pods during season four of Love Is Blind, Zack Goytowski and Irina Solomonova decided to call it quits at the conclusion of episode five after realising their relationship wasn’t working.
In a March 2023 interview with Today, Irina discussed why she and Zack split. “I feel like me and Zack weren’t meant to be,” Irina said. “It wasn’t anything about his looks, or anything like that, it was more of the sense of feeling this gut feeling that he wasn’t the person for me.” Zack also confirmed to Today that he and Irina haven’t spoken since their breakup. “I have not talked to Irina since Mexico. She sent me text messages, but I honestly never responded any of them,” he said.
