Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez file for divorce after 2 years of marriage

Ariana Grande has officially filed for divorce from her two-year husband, Dalton Gomez.

The couple’s divorce comes months after it came to light that they had split up and had been living separately for some months. According to sources, the estranged couple was ‘headed for divorce’ in July, thereby ending their two-year relationship.

According to TMZ, Ariana and Dalton filed for divorce at the same time, confirming the end of their marriage.

The actress and singer stated “irreconcilable differences” as the main cause of their divorce.

Despite rumours, the former couple is apparently settling their issues peacefully before moving to court. Ariana is seemingly set to provide financial support to Dalton as part of a prenuptial agreement they signed prior to their hush-hush lockdown wedding.

A divorce lawyer spoke on the situation and exclusively revealed to Page Six that their prenuptial agreement likely safeguards all assets and income that either party had before the marriage. Given the short duration of their relationship, it is expected that there won’t be a lot of stuff divided.

Their official divorce date has been recorded as February 20, 2023. This officially ends their journey, which began in 2020 during the pandemic.
