Despite getting new threats from mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, Salman Khan is not allowing fear to hamper his routine. The celebrity has resumed his hosting duties for the reality show Bigg Boss 18. The production team has increased security measures to safeguard Salman’s safety.
According to India Today, Salman filmed an episode of Bigg Boss 18 late Thursday night. He arrived on site with tight security. According to a source, Salman slept in his chalet on the site to protect his safety ahead of the scheduled call time on Friday.
Despite the increased security concerns, Salman’s filming schedule will continue as planned. To secure his safety, the actor’s crew is collaborating with production and channel officials to plan his travels. Several strict security measures have been implemented on set, with over 60 people employed to protect the area.
In addition, entrance to the compound has been restricted. The guards have been instructed to examine the Aadhar card before allowing anyone inside the compound. The Bigg Boss 18 team has been asked to stay on-site till the shoot is completed. Salman shoots Weekend Ka Vaar episodes as the show’s host. Earlier today, a Mumbai Traffic Police WhatsApp account received a threatening message demanding ₹5 crore from Salman.
As per Ani, the message states, “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay ₹5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”
Salman is apparently on Lawrence Bishnoi’s ‘kill list’, which also includes names of comedians, politicians, and rival gang members. He was one of the close friends of Baba Siddique, who was shot in the stomach and chest in an assailant attack on October 12.
