Ben Affleck was clearly not happy with the FBI’s actions at his Los Angeles home, especially as it was linked to an investigation involving the wildfires. On January 14, photos obtained by Page Six showed the Good Will Hunting star visibly angry and frustrated during what seemed like a heated conversation with a police officer outside his Brentwood residence.
Affleck, according to reports, was seen pointing toward an exit in an animated manner, as law enforcement had set up a security perimeter around his neighborhood, preventing residents from accessing their homes. The actor was reportedly discussing the situation with police officers and, after some back-and-forth, was granted permission to enter his property.
This heightened security followed the FBI’s involvement in an investigation at Affleck’s home. Authorities were reportedly conducting a grid search for unauthorized drones in the area. The FBI later confirmed that the drone activity was related to the Palisades Fire. They were particularly interested in any CCTV footage from Affleck’s property, as an unauthorized drone had allegedly caused damage to a “super scooper” aircraft, a type of firefighting plane.
