Beyoncé has once again raised the bar in her iconic music career, achieving a remarkable new milestone. The Single Ladies singer has now earned 103 certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), making her the most certified female artist of all time. The announcement, made on December 17, celebrates her unprecedented achievement, surpassing any other woman in the industry.
Michele Ballantyne, President and COO of the RIAA, praised Beyoncé’s extraordinary talent, dedication, and versatility across various music genres. He expressed excitement about recognizing her achievements, adding, “Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, and Columbia Records—and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat!”
Beyoncé’s most recent album has earned Platinum certification, while her track “Texas Hold ‘Em” has reached 2x Platinum, and another hit, “16 Carriages,” has achieved Gold status. Additionally, her 2022 album Renaissance has been upgraded to 2x Platinum, further solidifying her place in music history.
The Halo singer’s earlier work has contributed to her impressive tally, including collaborations with her husband Jay-Z. Their duets Drunk in Love (2013) and Crazy in Love (2003) both earned 8x Platinum certifications.
In addition to her certifications, Beyoncé continues to dominate the music scene, with 11 Grammy nominations this year, bringing her total to 99. This makes her the most nominated artist in Grammy history. Her 2024 nominations span a wide array of genres, from country to Americana and pop.
Beyoncé has already won 32 Grammy Awards, holding the record for the most wins by a female artist. Taylor Swift, who has won back-to-back Album of the Year Grammys, is a close competitor in the race for recognition.
As if her achievements weren’t enough, Beyoncé is set to perform at this year’s Christmas Day NFL Halftime Show, which will stream exclusively on Netflix, adding yet another exciting chapter to her legendary career.
